What type of Document Shredding do we provide?
Knight Archives provides convenient off-site shredding. Your paper will be picked up by our truck and securely shredded at our facility. We will arrange a pick-up schedule that fits your business.
How big are the jobs we service ?
Knight Archives handles all jobs regardless of how large or small they may be. We provide shredding services to small business, large corporations and every size in between. Shredding will be based on your paper consumption and budget requirements, but customers may choose from one-time purges, prepaid pickups and regularly scheduled pickups.
Do you need to sort the paper prior to pick-up?
No sorting is required – Paper clips, staples, binders all are accepted (Media such as CD’s and LTO’s cannot be destroyed according to NAID requirements)
How do you know your documents have been 100% destroyed?
Knight Archives is a member of NAID and follows the organization guidelines for destruction. Knight Archives has a CSDS on staff. When the material is 100% destroyed a certificate of destruction can be provided.
What happens to the paper following shredding?
After the documents have been securely shredded, they are collected and sent to a recycler to be used in new recycled paper products.
Do we Provide Collection Containers?
Yes we do. Knight Archives supplies lockable consoles for regularly scheduled pick-ups and and lockable bins for purges. Our specialists will assess your current requirements and disposal habits and offer suggestions based on that information. All these are offered at no extra cost.
What if my container becomes full before my service date?
If your console is full before your regularly scheduled pick-up, just call. We are happy to arrange an extra pick-up for you. If the extra pick-up continues we may suggest more consoles or adjust the frequency off your pick-up.
